| Lai gan pats netreidoju amerikā un pagaidām netaisos, šad tad pasekoju tiem jūsu papīriem... P/E 351.67 un fiška kāpj - tas ir kā, ja skatās ne pēc TA, bet fundamentālajiem datiem? Es saprotu, Amerika, apgriezieni u.t.t.... bet vienalga, ja mūsu tirgū šādi cipari... |

ASV industrija cenšoties iekāst aizvien vairāk naudas ir iestāstījusi visiem, ka visa fundamentālā analīze ar visiem P/E ir bullshits, "jaunajā tirgū" visu izsaka cena, un get rich shēma pavel nodarboties ar day tradingu, kas dos komisijas, apgrozījumu u.t.t tā kā var sastapt fiškas ar 500 P/E un lielāku, kas augs, un forumos cilvēki sauks vēl vēl vēl.

TZOO is making me cry.
I have a large short position in TZOO. What gives with this stock? I have been trying to short this for months, and I finally did a few weeks back. At the time, I was so pleased with the delays as it saved me a lot of money and I was convinced it was about to come crashing down. Ha! 85... 90... 95... and now steady at 100, all within just a matter of days. On another forum, it's pandemonium as investors who shorted in the mid 30s refused to cover at 50, and they were completely spooked when it passed the psychological level of $100. Some covered at 100 as any further upside would lead to margin calls. Rumor has it that we will see a stock split of some sort (10 for 1). Some see stock splits as psychology opening the door to more investors as it's perceived to be cheaper. Since shorting is near impossible, I know some who are actually buying at $100 in anticipation of a stock split, as they subscribe to that ideology. That's what made me cry. The ironic thing is their website at http://www.travelzoo.com/ doesn't even look like it's worth $30.00, let alone $1.6 billion.
This is completely unrelated. Or maybe not. I noticed many people also started complaining about short selling TASR, it reminded me exactly of the early TZOO discussions. It had similar short ratios, so I took a hunch and actually went long last week at $41... I'm now up 67%. TASR is a slightly more legitimate company but the recent gains have also been ridicules. I'm watching this one like a hawk, waiting to lock in my gains. What gets me is it's eerily similar to the TZOO situation. What could possibly be going on with these two stocks? I hate to say it but I'm starting to think it's something illegal

| Bet nedod jau šortot šo (un laikam jau sen). Short interest viņam arī ir milzīgs un kads notiks ja stoks pieaugs virs kādiem 120$ - un daļa shortu tiks segti un cena pieaugs. Šis stoks IMHO piemērots tikai daytradingam pie tam vienā virzienā (jo shortot nedod). |

Travelzoo Inc. (TZOO: news, chart, profile) shares sank nearly 25 percent after the company posted fourth quarter net income of around $1.7 million, or 9 cents a share compared with $453,000, or 2 cents a share in the same quarter in 2003. Earnings include a charge of around $977,000 related to a stockholder cash payout program. Revenue for the quarter soared more than doubled to $10.5 million on buoyant advertising sales. The Thomson First Call average estimate was for earnings of 13 cents a share on revenue of $10.9 million
