However, the quarterly net profit rose from 28.6 million euros to almost 50 million euros. In accordance with the dividend policy, the group proposed to pay a dividend of 0.663 euros per share for the first six months, or a total of 48 million euros. At today's share price, this makes the dividend yield per half year 3.2%, or annualized (on an annual basis ‒ ed.) 6.4%. In light of the new results, Ignitis Grupė raised its 2024 adjusted EBITDA, i.e. profit before tax and expenses, forecast to 450-480 million euros. Previously, this forecast was 440-470 million euros. The investment forecast is between 850 million and one billion euros. The group's adjusted EBITDA in the first half of the year was nearly 290 million euros, which is more than a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The growth was mainly due to the development of green capabilities and networks.
